Fleur de Bitume is an artistic action carried out directly
in the streets. For this series, she created small, colorful
flower sculptures and planted them discreetly into the
cracks of the city, placing them where nature itself
might one day appear. These interventions were left for
passersby to discover, inviting a moment of surprise,
softness, and quiet joy in the middle of urban routine.
The project is rooted in a simple belief that runs through
all of Launorma’s work: beauty is everywhere. Even where
we least expect it.

It also echoes a recurring theme in her universe. the
power of nature. A “Supernature” wild, vibrant, optimistic,
and unstoppable. These little flowers appear as if they
are breaking through the city, reminding us of resilience,
freedom, and the quiet insistence of life. They transform
the hardness of the street into a space of possibility.
In the gallery, the project becomes a sculptural object:
the flower is presented exactly as it existed outdoors,
emerging from a block of concrete. This shift preserves
the essence of the original gesture: a delicate bloom
confronting the weight of the city. It is both a fragment of
the street and a symbol of the unexpected beauty that can
rise from it.
